A video collaboration between musician Misty Escarpment, The Golden Gaytimes Acrobalance Performance Troupe and Ten Alphas Films. Set in 1970s Corrimal, ‘Lazy Kangaroo’ tells the tale of dreaming your way out of a bad situation.
Funded by a Wollongong City Council Cultural Grant. The project launch was part of Merrigong Theatre’s Made From Scratch performance night.

Bundanon 2022 Artist In Residence

Misty Escarpment was an artist-in-residence at Bundanon in 2022, focusing on jazz composition with Australian bush field recordings.

Bundanon’s Artists in Residence program supports new work, research and collaborations by artists and researchers from around the world.
2022 was a significant year for Bundanon with the opening of the spectacular new Art
Museum and the Bridge for creative learning.

CultureBank Wollongong Grant – Aged Care Concerts

Misty Escarpment received funding from CultureBank Wollongong to produce and perform jazz trio concerts in local aged care facilities. The aim of the project was to bring quality live jazz to people who can’t get out to venues easily.
